We need actions for Peace, Love and Interfaith Harmony among the people of different religions in Pakistan.

Diwali, the festival of lights, joy, prosperity and happiness. It is a five-day long celebration that commences with Dhanteras and ends with Bhaiya Dooj. The festival of Diwali is celebrated on the darkest night of the year in the Hindu month of Kartik. This festival is being celebrated on Kartik Amavasya. People celebrate this festival with great grandeur and enthusiasm and enjoy it with their family, friends and relatives.
Peace Center staff Mr. Asher Nazir Executive Secretary Peace Center and URI CC Coordinator of COPE CC and Madam Neelam Nisari Program Manager Peace Center and URI CC Coordinator of Golden Star CC participated in the celebration of Diwali at Avari Hotel Lahore, Pakistan. Anglo Asian Friendship Society URI CC arranged this beautiful celebration at Avari Hotel Lahore. Mr. Asher Nazir and Madam Neelum Nisari presented sweet and flowers to Sunita Maunawar Chand she was the host of the ceremony of Diwali at Avari Hotel Lahore, Pakistan. As host of the Diwali celebration program, Madam Suntia Maunawar welcomed all guests and She shared that Diwali is an important religious festival in the Hindu calendar, as it marks the day of Lord Rama’s return home after a 14-year exile. Many people were present from different religions and they participated in this program and they shared gifts and sweets with the Hindu community on Diwali. They shared that, for the stability of Pakistan, we should promote the culture of love, tolerance, peace, interfaith harmony and brotherhood to make Pakistan strong, because Pakistani minorities can play a positive and important role for a strong Pakistan.

Bishop Sylvester, Mr. Asher Nazir, Mr. Samson Salmat and Qari Muhammad Ahmad, Shri Ram shared in his views that as Pakistani we are together and we are One Nation. We are living with peace and interfaith harmony in Pakistan and we are happy. Together we celebrate religious festivals as Diwali, Eid, Christmas and festivals of Sikh religions.
Today we are all present from different religions and we are sharing love, Joy. gift and sweet with Hindu brother and sisters. We appreciate Government of Pakistan that they are working for the rights of Minorities and they are organizing many programs for the promotion of peace and interfaith harmony in Pakistan. We as Pakistanis are united in our happiness as well as in sorrow. We celebrate all our religious, cultural and national occasions together.
