There was Peace and Interfaith Harmony Conference organized in Youhanabad in which Mr. Asher Nazir; Executive Secretary of Peace Center participated. He expressed his great joy at this conference which is of prime importance in Pakistan. It brings closer the believers of different religions under one roof. Mr. Asher   presented book of Fr. James Channan OP “Path of Love: A Call for Interfaith Harmony” to Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora Provincial Minister for Minorities Affairs, Government of Punjab. This conference was organized by New Apostolic Church Pakistan on 6th July,2024. In this conference Provincial Minister of Interfaith harmony and Religious Affairs Punjab participated as Chief Guest with the invitation of Mr. Asher Nazir. 

More than 130 Interfaith people were present in this conference. Bishop Khadim Bhutto and Pastor Afrahim President of New Apostolic Church Pakistan were host and together they organized this beautiful Interfaith conference. 

As guest of honor Allama Syed Ayaz Zaheer Hashmi Federal Chairman NPCIH and Syeda Noor-ul-Sabah Hashmi Federal Chairperson of National Peace Committee for Interfaith Harmony Pakistan. In honorable guests Allama Muhammad Zubair Abid, Mufti Ashiq Hussain, Allama Asim Makhdoom, Sohail Ahmad, Dr. Abdul Ghafar Randhawa and Iqbal Sani participated in this interfaith gathering.  

Allama Ayaz Zaheer Hashmi shared that NPCIH is a non-profitable organization. Our aim is to work towards a world where peace and harmony prevail in the nation. Let us continue to work towards our common goal of promoting peace in our communities and beyond. Together, we can create a world where harmony and understanding prevail. Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora Provincial Minister and Allama Ayaz Zaheer Hashmi shared that as peace promoter our objective is to bring harmony in multi-faiths, which is lacking today and needs are to speed up the activities on the subject Internationally, to save and eliminate the problems the world is facing today. The Pakistan nation at present is trying at all levels and efforts towards bring awareness among the people involved in all walks of life to control extremism and terrorism. Pakistan is becoming a front state countering extremism and terrorism. To encounter such activities and to bring harmony in provinces, races and common men to save the country from such evil-deeds. Since the world has squeezed into a global village, therefore, interfaith harmony is essential for its peace. We need to work together to eliminate the scourge of terrorism, extremism and sectarian violence. To create this shift we are proud that we are together as people of different religions and today we are establishing a good example for Peace and Interfaith Harmony among the people of different religion in Pakistan. Government of Pakistan wish to bring about peace and harmony, between all provinces of Pakistan and Globally. Our aim is to bring a better understanding, cooperation and unity among different sects and faiths.
